Why can’t I receive my statement closer to the end of each accounting period?

All incoming source statements received within each accounting period are entered and processed for the period in which they are received; therefore, your statement cannot be processed until after the very last day of the period. Due to the large volume of incoming statements, the large number of recorded songs, and the large number of writers in our client database, it takes several weeks to enter, verify, process, print and double check your statement to make sure your accounting is accurate.
